IN THE NAME OF ALLAH THE MOST BENEFICENT THE MOST MERCIFUL

Islamic Eschatology is the branch of knowledge, which deals with the "study of End Times". Unfortunately, this part of knowledge has not been seriously considered to be developed and studied as a "branch of knowledge" by the mainstream Islamic scholarship, rather treated as the collection of some Ahadees (prophecies by Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him), merely to be read and transmitted without deep and careful explanation and / or interpretation! 

Without going into details of why this happened, we'll just focus on introducing the subject of End Times and why is it extremely important to study this branch of knowledge, under current circumstances!

When we see lot of mysterious and unusual events happen before our eyes, bearing global impacts on the religious, economic, social and political lives of the people, there are those who really think critically and not just brainwashed by the mainstream media and government institutions,  bound to raise a basic but a very important question: are these events happening by accident or part of a greater design / plan?

Can we get an authentic explanation about the REALITY of some of the major events past just over 100 years, which are unprecedented in transforming human society toward gaining control by the ruling elites (global establishment) on each an every aspect of the masses (never experienced in the history of mankind) across the world? Some of the events are as follows:

Creation of Zionist Movement in 1897
World War I (1914 - 1919)
Returning of Jews to the Holy Land of Jerusalem after almost 2000 years in 1918
Creation of Nation States
World War II (1939 - 1945)
Creation of United Nations and Institutions like World Bank and IMF
Replacement of Gold Standard / Backed Monetary System to Fraud and Fake (Haram) Paper Currency Monetary System
Creation of the State of Zionist Israel in 1948
Endless Unjust Wars and Invasions by the US Regime over weak countries till date!!
Engineered War on Terrorism!
Agenda 2030 of the United Nations covering Geo-engineering, Social-engineering, Trans-humanism, Role of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Human Depopulation (Eugenics Agenda) etc.
One World Government!!
Current move by the US President toward moving the US Embassy in Jerusalem!

A CRITICAL THINKING (BUT ALSO A LITTLE BIT SENSITIVE) MIND MUST RAISE A FEW QUESTIONS: 
- ARE THESE EVENTS PART OF THE LINEAR HISTORICAL PROGRESS / PROCESS OR LEADING THE MANKIND TOWARD A PRE-DESTINED END?
- ARE THESE EVENTS HAPPENING BY ACCIDENT OR IS THERE A GREATER AGENDA BEHIND THE EVENTS UNFOLDING BEFORE OUR EYES? (KINDLY ELIMINATE THE WORD CONSPIRACY THEORIES FROM YOUR MIND BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO LEARN ABOUT THE TRUTH, BECAUSE IT IS MEANT TO DISTRACT YOU!!)
- SHOULD WE TAKE THESE EVENTS ON FACE VALUE OR DO WE NEED A DEEP  EXPLANATION /  INTERPRETATION TO LEARN THEIR UNDERLYING / ULTERIOR MOTIVES?

Please do recall the awakening words by US President, President Franklin D Roosevelt: “In politics, nothing happens by accident. If it happens, you can bet it was planned that way.”

Above all Allah The Most High warns in the Holy Quran:

Many are the Jinns and men we have made for Hell: They have hearts wherewith they understand not, eyes wherewith they see not, and ears wherewith they hear not. They are like cattle,- nay but they are worse! for they are heedless (of warning) -

Surah Al A’raf 7:179

DEFINING END TIMES AND END OF HISTORY:

These two important terms must be clarified before we go in detail about this exclusive branch of knowledge, which gives us the "insight and foresight" of events happening around us.

End of Times: It means the Age before the End of this World i.e. The Hour or The Day of Judgements or The Day of Resurrection culminating to End of History. In Islamic tradition it is also known as the Age of Fitan (Trials and Tribulations) before the Hour. Since this Age bears serious consequences upon the entire humanity, specially the "believers", who not only intend to understand the "reality" (for safeguarding themselves from pervasive deceptions) of events unfolding before their eyes, but most importantly preserve their "Faith", therefore acquiring knowledge is of extreme and prime importance!

End of History: It means the period of history, when a particular political, economic or  a social system may develop that would constitute the end-point of humanity's socio-cultural evolution and the final form of human government.

From Islamic point of view it will be the moment of history, when "Truth" triumphs / rules over "Falsehood" in totality and there will be no rival to it and no more pages of history will be written, until The Day of Judgement. The Truth i.e. Islamic World Order - ensuring real and global peace, justice, harmony, mutual co-exisitence and welfare for the mankind and living beings (without any bogus UN)!

AUTHENTIC ISLAMIC TRADITIONS ABOUT END TIMES (AL QURAN AND SUNNAH):

Allah The Most High in His Final Testament (Al Quran) and through His Final Messenger Muhammad peace be upon him (the most powerful voice in human history) warned very clearly about the Last Age / End Times.

We'll mention a few to draw the kind attention and interest of the respected readers as follows:

Hudhayfah ibn Usayd Ghifari, the companion of the Prophet, said,“Allah’s Messenger came to us all of a sudden as we were (busy in a discussion). He asked: What are you discussing? (The Companions) replied: We are discussing (the subject of) the Last Hour. Thereupon he said: It will not come until you see ten signs. And (in this connection) he made a mention of the ‘smoke’, ‘Dajjal (Anti-Christ)’, the ‘beast’, the ‘rising of the sun from the west’, the ‘descent of Jesus son of Mary’, ‘Gog and Magog’, ‘sinking of the earth in three places, one in the east, one in the west and one in Arabia’ at the end of which ‘fire would burn forth from Yemen, and would drive people to the place of their assembly’ (i.e., the place where mankind will be assembled for judgement).” - (Sahih Muslim) 

The above authentic tradition mentions 10 Major Signs before The Day of Judgement, indicating the major events occurring for the believers to gain knowledge about them and seek forgiveness and protection from Allah The Most High!

Allah The Most High in His Holy Qur’an described Jesus (i.e., the second coming of Prophet Esaa peace be upon him, which is one of the major Signs mentioned above) as the ‘ilm' (which here means the very key to the subject) of the Last Hour:

“And he (i.e., Jesus) shall be a Sign (for the coming of) the Hour (of Judgement): therefore have no doubt about the (Hour), but follow Me: this is a Straight Way.” 

(Qur’an, Zukhruf, 43:61)

One of the very famous authentic tradition of Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him known as (Hadees of Jibreel peace be upon him), we will definitely be able to know that we are living in End Times, which is as follows:

  On the authority of Umar (RA) who said: One day while we were sitting with the Messenger of Allah (s), there came before us a man with extremely white clothing and extremely black hair. There were no signs of travel on him and none of us knew him. He [came and] sat next to the Prophet (s). He supported his knees up against the knees of the Prophet (s) and put his hand on his thighs. He said, ‘O Muhammad, tell me about Islam.’  The Messenger of Allah (s) said, ‘Islam is to testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, to establish the prayers, to pay the zakat, to fast [the month of] Ramadan, and to make pilgrimage to the House if you have the means to do so.’ He said, ‘You have spoken truthfully [or correctly].’ We were amazed that he asks the question and then says that he had spoken truthfully. He said, ‘Tell me about Emaan (faith).’ He [the Messenger of Allah (s)] responded, ‘It is to believe in Allah, His angles, His books, His messengers, the Last Day and to believe in the divine decree, [both] the good and the evil thereof.’ He said, ‘You have spoken truthfully.’ He said, ‘Tell me about al-Ihsaan (goodness).’ He [the Prophet (s)] answered, ‘It is that you worship Allah as if you see Him. And even though you do not see Him, [you know] He sees you.’ He said, ‘Tell me about [the time of] the Hour,’ He [the Prophet (s)] answered, ‘The one being asked does not know more than the one asking.’ He said, ‘Tell me about it’s signs.’ He answered, ‘The slave-girl shall give birth to her mistress, and you will see the barefooted, scantily-clothed, destitute shepherds competing in constructing lofty buildings.’ Then he went away. I stayed for a long time. Then he [the Prophet (s)] said, ‘O Umar, do you know who the questioner was?’ I said, ‘Allah and His Mesanger know best.’ He said, ‘It was [the angel] Gabriel who came to teach you your religion.’  
(Sahih Muslim)
Is the above mentioned saying of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) not clear and indicative that we are living in the End Times??

MINOR SIGNS: According to the collection of authentic traditions / prophecies by our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), there are almost 100 minor signs, which has been agreed upon by authentic Islamic scholars that almost all of them have been fulfilled. Thus, we are living in End Times!

TWO MAIN CRITICAL ACTORS OF END TIMES:

1. Al Maseeh Al Dajjal - Anti Christ:

“And fear the ‘Fitnah’ which affects not in particular those of you who do wrong (but it may afflict all the good & bad people together), and know that Allah is severe in punishment.”

(Aayah No. 25, Surah Al-Anfal, Chapter No. 8, Holy Qur’an)

Narrated Aishah (RA): I heard Allah’s Messenger (PBUH) in his Salat, seeking refuge with Allah from the Fitnah of ‘Al Dajjal’. (Hadith No. 7129, Book of Al-Fitan, Sahih Bukhari, Vol. 9)

Between the creation of Adam (AS) and the onset of the Hour, there is no creation that has more impact than the ‘Dajjal’ – (Hadith No. 7395 (2946), Book of Tribulations & Portents of the Hour, Sahih Muslim, Vol. 7)

Narrated by Abu Huraira and Ibn Abbas (RA): The Prophet (PBUH) said: "No prophet was sent but that he warned his followers against the one-eyed liar (Ad-Dajjal). Beware! He is blind in one eye, and your Lord is not so, and there will be written between his (Ad-Dajjal's) eyes (the word) Kafir (K – F – R i.e., disbeliever)." (Hadith No. 7131, Book of Al-Fitan, Sahih Bukhari, Vol. 9).

The Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said:“The false Messiah (Dajjal) would live on earth for

40 days (i.e., after his release from his chains) in which one day would be like a year, one day

would be like a month, one day would be like a week, and all (the rest of) his days would be like

your days.” (Sahih Muslim)

Due to the limitation and scope of this blog, we can simply provide summarised logical deduction of the above mentioned critical Hadees (authentic tradition) as follows, and Allah Knows Best:

DAJJAL’s MISSION!

- To liberate the Holy Land (Bait al Maqdas) from the Muslims - Done!

- To bring back the Jews in the Holy Land for settlement - Done!

- To restore the State of Israel (claiming to be there holy state) - Done!

- To establish Israel as the Ruling State of the world in order to convince the world Jewry that the Holy State of Prophet Dauood (peace be upon him) and Prophet Suleiman (peace be upon him) has been restored- Almost Achieved (near to completion)!!

- To impersonate him as a true Messiah (who actually will be False Messiah - Anti Christ) for the Jews to confirm (betray) their promised long awaited "Golden Age" has returned - This will be the last nail in the coffin for the Jewry for their ultimate destruction - Final Showdown awaited!!!

Has not the time yet arrived that we pay attention to the subject of Islamic Eschatology, specially understanding the most complex and worst Fitna (trial and tribulation) in the history of mankind "Al Maseeh Al Dajjal", so it is still time to wake up!!!

2. Gog and Magog (Yajooj and Ma'jooj):

Allah The Most High says in His Holy Quran: "And there is prohibition upon [the people of] a city which We have destroyed that they will [ever] return Until when [the dam of] Gog and Magog has been opened / released and they, from every elevation, descend " - Al Quran 21:95-96

Hazrat Zainab Bint Jahsh (RA) reported that Allah’s apostle (PBUH), got up from sleep with a flushed red face and said:  “Woe be to the Arabs for the great evil that is approaching (them); the barrier of Gog and Magog has opened so much’. And Sufyan (RA) made a sign of ten with the help of his hand (in order to indicate the width of the gap) and I said: ‘Allah’s Messenger, would we be perished in spite of the fact that there would be good people amongst us’? Thereupon he said: ‘Of course, but only when the evil predominates’.” - (Sahih Bukhari & Sahih Muslim)

Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri narrates that the Messenger of Allah said, "On the Day of Judgement, Allah will tell Adam to pick out the Jahanamis from his progeny. Adam will ask, "O Allah, who are they?" Allah will say,"999 out of 1000 are hell fire while the one is for paradise." On hearing this the Sahaba over taken by fear asked, "Who will the ONE for paradise be?" The Prophet replied, "Do not grieve, the 999 will be from Yajuj Ma'juj (Gog and Magog), while you will be the one for paradise." - (Sahih Bukhari / Sahih Muslim)

Thus, the world in the End Times (Age of Fitan), will thus comprise two kinds of people – the universal society of the people of Ya’jooj and Ma’jooj, who will be alike and all be embraced by the same godless way of life (as we can clearly see before our own eyes, Subhan Allah!). And the people / servants of Allah The Most High, who will be few in numbers and will be different and therefore strange (ghareeb) to rest of mankind. That phenomena will confirm the prophecy of our beloved Prophet Muhammad SAWS:

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Islam began as something strange and will revert to being strange as it began, so give glad tidings to the strangers.” – Shaih Muslim (145)

Has not the time yet arrived that we pay attention to the subject of Islamic Eschatology, specially understanding this profound Fitna (trial and tribulation) in the history of mankind (Yajooj and Ma'jooj), so it is still time to wake up!!!

CONCLUSION:

The study of Islamic Eschatology will provide:

- Awareness of "End Times" and its distinction from "End of History"

- Understanding the "Age of Fitan" (End Times, current age) by differentiating between "Reality (True Perception)" and "Deception" and interpreting "Religious Symbolism" mentioned in the Prophecies of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)

- Advance warning from every kind of "Fasad" (total corruption leading to destruction in every walk of life) in the End Times / Age of Fitan!

- True Understanding about the mysterious events taking place in our current age, which otherwise be impossible to be truly understood via any secular explanation or interpretation whatsoever! It does by so by connecting the dots to understand the bigger picture / end game, thus leading toward pre-destined end of human civilisation ordained by Allah The Most High - and Allah Knows Best!

- Possibility of safeguarding the most important asset of a believer (Momin) – Emaan!

- Islamic point of view without boxing gloves (Tafarqa) and open to positive criticism for enhancing / improving and promoting true Knowledge (Truth / Haq)!
